One Year of Blogging + Big Announcement + Giveaway

One year ago today I penned my first blog post. I had worked on my blog for the previous several days, and having brought it to a satisfactory level, I posted this:

“As a fan of medieval allegory books, my cousin and I about eight months ago started the long journey of writing one. We’ve been working on it for nearly a year at this point, and it’s getting somewhat close to the finish.
The book title is as of yet undecided, but I’ll be sure to update you on that progress”

With all its sixty words (and lack of end punctuation), this became the beginning of the Benefield Bookmark. Since then, I’ve reached 2,000+ views, 1,000+ visitors, 49 followers, 58 book reviews, 1 guest review, and 2 short stories.

Thank you all for reading. If you’ve been around since that first post a year ago, my gratefulness goes out to you. But if you haven’t, I appreciate you all the same. Every time you read one of my posts, it encouraged me to keep going. Your support means more than you can ever know.
