Today, I bring you a bit of a different review. The normal parameters I review aren’t present in this book, at least not in the sense they were invented by an author. For this review, I’ll just be talking about what I liked in somewhat of a disorganized way. With that said, let’s get into the review.

We Seven is a very unique book. It was written by the first seven astronauts of the space program. It includes each one’s perspective on applying and being admitted into the program, then goes in depth through the making of the rockets and capsules. You really get a good sense of how much went into this series of incredible human achievements.

There is some crude language scattered throughout, but God’s name is not taken in vain. My dad was not aware of this when he gave it to me.

This book came alive even more when I recently had the opportunity to visit Washington, DC. In the Air and Space Smithsonian, one of the very capsules flown in this book, Friendship 7, sits on display. Only when standing there can you imagine what it must have been like to be cooped up in a metal prison for hours.
